Dear Huckleberry Family,
We want to, again, thank the entire Bay Area community for supporting us during our recovery after the devastating Feb. 6 fire at our offices at Geary and Parker.
We are in the process of looking for permanent space to relocate our Administrative offices and the Huckleberry Wellness Academy-SF (HWA).
The resilience of Huckleberry’s staff members during our displacement has been astounding! Our Finance, Human Resources, and Development Departments are all operational at various sites, allowing us to continue organizational functionality through this hardship.
And, we continue to provide high-quality services for youth. HWA has held group meetings, SAT prep, tutoring, and academic case management for their students at various locations including USF, the Park Branch Library, and Roosevelt Middle School.
Many supporters have asked what they can do to provide the most assistance. Attending Huckleberry’s Spring Gala on Thurs. April 11, and learning more about our work, will make a significant, enduring impact. At the Gala, you will see first-hand how Huckleberry’s Community Assessment & Resource Center (CARC) has helped reform the San Francisco juvenile justice system by providing 7,500 youth with an alternative to incarceration over the last 20 years.
Please consider purchasing a ticket to the Gala and help us continue to educate, inspire, and support youth in the Bay Area!
