WHY WE WALK
For three decades, Huckleberry Youth Programs has provided more than 180,000 youth with a continuum of sexual, reproductive, and primary medical services, along with health education workshops in middle and high schools, empowering youth to make more informed decisions about their health.
Our health clinics in San Francisco and Marin offer comprehensive, age-appropriate, culturally-sensitive and responsive adolescent health services to youth (ages 12-25) at no-cost to remove financial barriers to accessing affordable, high-quality health care.
As part of San Francisco’s “Getting to Zero Consortium,” a major HIV prevention initiative, the Huckleberry Youth Health Center, in partnership with the Dept. of Public Health, offers PrEP, a daily pill that reduces the risk of contracting HIV by 92%.
Your donation in support of our AIDS Walk Team will help us continue to provide thousands of young people with access to essential mental and physical health services in San Francisco and Marin Counties!
