It’s quite possible my circumstances wouldn’t be as positive today if it weren’t
for me running away to Huckleberry House when I was 14. I’m so grateful
services like this exist for troubled youth. I was able to safely escape an abusive
situation and move into a healthier environment thanks to Huckleberry House.
I hope kids today and tomorrow will have the same opportunities as me, if
needed. I also hope that as a society, we figure out how to teach and practice
unconditional love to prevent the need for such services.
